We will pick you up at Coco Bongo and start the journey towards Tulum.
Tulum is the only place where you can find beachfront Mayan ruins. It was one of the last cities inhabited and built by the ancient Maya, and it even managed to survive for another 70 years after the Spanish occupied Mexico. Due to its location on the Caribbean Coast, cliffs used to be a substantial commercial and political centre.
Today it is one of the most famous Mayan sites to visit, certainly also because of its magnificent white-sandy beaches with the sublimely turquoise waters, rivalling the best of the Caribbean.
After a guided visit to the archaeological site, you have free time to enjoy the zone including free time to discover the area on your own. Then we will continue to the cenote Yax-Kin.
The cenote is few kilometres away from Tulum Archeological Zone and are immersed in the Mayan Jungle. Crystal clear waters and beautiful caverns are ideal for a refreshing natural swim.
The cenotes were sacred places for the Maya Civilization. Today, they are one of the main attractions to visit in Riviera Maya and are part of the most extensive underground river system globally. Also, it has some of the most extensive caves ever explored.
After refreshing yourself with a swim at this natural sinkhole, we will continue to your Hotel or Meeting Point.
